Our Story
Our journey began when we came to Spain from cold Norway in search of warmer weather, more light and a different rhythm of life.
But along the way, we found so much more.
We discovered a Costa Blanca full of hidden places, generous people and traditions rooted in the land. Olive groves, citrus farms, beekeepers, vineyards, mountain trails and family-run fincas became part of a world we wanted others to experience too.
And we found each other.
What started as a passion project has grown into Ground & Connect: a way to bring people closer to the food, nature, stories and local producers that make this region so special.
From the beginning, we have focused on creating experiences with care and intention. We do not want to offer standard tourism. We want to create moments that feel personal, thoughtful and connected to place.
Today, we work with local partners to curate farm-to-table meals, harvest experiences, tastings, workshops, wellness activities, outdoor experiences and private gatherings for groups, companies, retreats and travel partners.
Every experience is shaped around the season, the setting and the people taking part.
We are proud of where this journey has taken us, and even more excited for what lies ahead. What sets us apart is not just what we offer, but the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore and create experiences with purpose at every turn.
We came to Spain looking for the sun.

Nora Egeberg
Founder
Nora is a traveller, storyteller and experience creator with a strong love for people, places and meaningful moments.
Growing up on a farm in Norway gave her a deep connection to nature, seasons and the simple beauty of life close to the land. Today, she brings that same grounded perspective into Ground & Connect.
With experience in high-end travel design, storytelling and content creation, Nora has a natural eye for detail and atmosphere. She knows how to create experiences that feel warm, personal and thoughtfully put together.
At Ground & Connect, Nora helps shape experiences that bring people closer to the real Costa Blanca — through food, nature, local culture and connection.
Anja Trujillo Normann
Founder
Anja is a traveller, journalist, educator and experience creator with a deep love for people, culture and meaningful stories.
Growing up on a farm in Kansas gave her a strong connection to open landscapes, practical work, family traditions and life close to the land. Later, life brought her to Norway and then to Spain, where she found a new rhythm on the Costa Blanca.
With a background in journalism, teaching and a master’s degree in business leadership, Anja brings curiosity, structure and purpose into Ground & Connect. She is passionate about finding the story behind a place, a meal, a producer or a local tradition — and turning it into an experience people can feel part of.
At Ground & Connect, Anja helps design experiences where guests can taste, learn, explore and connect with the real Costa Blanca.
